Perched on a secluded Greek island, Cliffside is an exclusive private villa that fuses coastal terrain with the serenity of panoramic ocean views. With direct access to a private beach, this retreat offers an unparalleled sense of escape.
The design brief called for a concept that harmonised the island’s traditional vernacular while embracing bold gestures to frame its expansive vistas. Studio Lord interpreted the Greek villa vernacular with a contemporary sensibility, effortlessly balancing coastal simplicity, material warmth, with precision of space.
Composed of restrained, interlocking spaces that naturally contour the cliff with subtlety and flow, the landscape is elegantly framed to create a central living core where light, sky, and water are in harmony.
Timeless materials - with warm rendered walls and natural stone – lend a distinctive nod to tradition, while outdoor living spaces, with infinity-edge pools, and covered seating areas, introduce a defined contemporary edge.
Cliffside embodies the quiet beauty of this island and redefines contemporary Greek living.
