Blue Horizon is Studio Lord’s design response to a client brief for a modern hotel set on a secluded island, surrounded by rugged lakeside terrain and dense pine forests. This conceptual design celebrates the dialogue between raw natural beauty and refined architectural expression—envisioning a contemporary structure that seamlessly interweaves with and gracefully responds to the landscape.

The design softens clean lines with gentle curves and is defined by projecting balconies, creating a form that both contrasts with and complements the rugged terrain. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing and carefully oriented terraces frame uninterrupted views of the lake and pine forest, offering guests an immersive experience in nature and panoramic vistas as they move through the space.
