Bayview
Located on a newly developed peninsula in the Middle East, Bayview is a striking private estate designed to celebrate its breathtaking coastal setting while ensuring complete privacy for the client. Positioned in an enviable location overlooking vast waters, Studio Lord’s brief was to deliver an innovative and contemporary interpretation of quiet seclusion.
Our design makes intelligent use of the site layout by introducing a discreet external entrance for guests and residents, which naturally transitions into a larger private courtyard - a functional yet serene outdoor space shaped by interlocking wings that ensure complete privacy.
The main building adopts an L-shaped configuration, purposefully oriented towards the sea to frame uninterrupted coastal views while creating a natural barrier against neighbouring villas.
From the courtyard, a visual axis extends through an open under croft to the external swimming pool, perfectly framing the horizon for an unbroken view of the calming and expansive ocean waters. This composition reinforces the sense of seclusion while celebrating the dramatic coastal setting.
The design concept for Bayview shares a similar architectural sensibility and language with our Seaview project, though Bayview adopts a bold, and undeniably sharper expression compared to Seaview’s softer presentation.
